Wincal Bio team has developed a carrier library to facilitate penetration of  therapeutic proteins as well as antibodies into eyes. One of the programs is to replace current cumbersome practice of eye injection (intravitreal injection) with patients' friendly eyedrop approaches. Using our proprietary eye penetration screening assays in mouse eyes and antibody specific carrier formulations, our recent proof of concept studies demonstrate that this novel idea can be translatable into large animals and human patients.
